I'm Hunny, a girl who likes food and fictional hedgehogs.
I haven't been in the fandom long, maybe a year, but I've liked the Sonic universe since I was little. I've never really been part of a socially-type thing like this related to Sonic, so I hope I'll be able to contribute some!

Well, mostly because my exposure to the subject before about two years ago was contained to the few games I owned and Sonic X. It was only then when I was introduced to the ~wonders of fanfiction~ and became interested in the fandom. I was rather internet-shy, as well, so I didn't start actually contributing anything until much later.

Have you attempted writing any yourself, or only read what has been written by others? I ask simply because I've written a number of Sonic fan fictions myself which I'm hoping to tell people about. |

I've tried, but I am certainly no author. Whenever I tried to start something, I immediately gave up for fear of massacring the characters! Who needs persistence, right? Yes, I do have a few things floating around on my hard drive, but nothing especially noteworthy. Well-written fanfiction is my bread and butter; I suppose it's regretful that I find myself unable to contribute to that number, but that's life.
You write fanfiction? I am immediately intrigued.

You write fanfiction? I am immediately intrigued. I tried reaching out to you in the shout-box about this, but I think you left. Anyway, I have all my fan fiction posted on DeviantART at this location: mjponso.deviantart.com/gallery/31687972/Fan-FictionAll of it takes place in the Sonic universe, and tends to feature the same "classic" characters Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, and Robotnik (though some others make appearances too). The genre is predominantly action/adventure (staying true to the core premise of the games) with some drama weaved in. Most of the stories are suitable for a teenage audience, though some deal with darker, more mature topics. I'll name as many of those as I can offhand in case you want to avoid them. "Novus Umbra Seclorum" "Burn, Baby, Burn" "The Savage Beast" "Steel Your Heart" I'll probably be posting a few of my stories on this forum to give everyone a taste of my style of writing. |
