I think it's something to keep in mind, but seeing as how the "PC Gaming" subforum doesn't even have a single post in it right now, it might be premature. Let's wait until we have a number of topics in there first.

Oh yeah. That is true. But we could use PC Gaming kind of for SA2 or Generations mods, like the Amy mod, Tails mod, Shadow mod, expanded levels/custom levels mods, Sonic.EXE mods.. I could go on forever.

If it was up to me, I would've lumped those in with the Console Gaming discussions, because you're talking about modifications to games that originally came out on consoles. PC games, in my mind, are those that are exclusively limited to the PC platform.

You can't modify consoles, from what I know, and PC games are any type of game, they just have to be on the PC.

My suggestion is to create a thread under the Console folders that encompasses let's plays. Unless you think a particular lets play channel will constitute an entire separate thread because it generates a lot of discussion and material (Game Grumps, Rooster Teeth and 2 best friends play come to mind), it's better to keep them all organized to a single thread.
Same goes for Mod videos. For the sake of organization and keeping things relatively simple, it's best to keep all mod related videos to a single thread within one of our current folders. I'd suggest doing a thread like that in the PC folder because even if the game being modded is a console game, you use a PC to do the modding in the first place.

This isn't really related to the subject, but I just noticed Yanimae doesn't have a signature. She should make one!

I agree with your suggestion, Yani, especially with the size of the forum right now. I can't see any individual game/discussion generating such interest to merit its own thread.

STP- yeah and I just had a thought as well: If a user on here has their own lets play channel, that's an example I can think of where they can create their own thread in the appropriate folder specifically for their channel and such. That's totally fine! Same goes for their modding videos. But for overall cases where you're sharing outside sources of videos, it's best to keep them in one thread.

Well, in the 'artwork and user created media' board, there's a section called that encompasses videos (which include those made on YouTube). =o

That idea is a bit iffy, unless we move the entire let's plays folder into another sub-folder within the videos section of the website. That would make the whole thing a bit more organized, since the Let's Plays are basically videos of people playing games.
