Who here watches the new series on CN? I'll catch an episode from time to time and I like where it's going! It's funny, light hearted and not as mean-spirited as I thought its humor would end up being. It's a cute little tale about Sonic and Co, which really was needed I feel. It's all pretty hilarious! What are some. Of your favorite moments? Criticisms?    |

Yep, I may not be born in Canada but I've lived in BC for all of my remembered life. Now that wasn't part of the conversation, so I'll get back on topic. The only thing I'm having problems with the Sonic BOOM series is Knuckles' and Sticks' personalities: I'm worried that the writers of the show may start exaggerating the two next season. |

I personally enjoy the show quite a bit, but for some reason I don't push myself to watch the new ones very often. Now that's definitely not anything negative towards the show, I think it's great, that's just me. =)

I am enjoying the new TV series immensely. (I'm having to catch them all online because I don't have a cable TV subscription.) Ever since finding full episodes of Sonic X online a few years back, I've been wanting to see Sonic and his friends in action on the screen again. I wasn't sure what to think about newcomer Sticks the Badger, but I'm quickly growing to like her (despite her coarse voice), especially when she's given the spotlight as in "Buster" and "My Fair Sticksy."
I also had to laugh at the "evil cookies" in episode 8, which gave everyone (even the girls) Eggman mustaches. And surprisingly, Sticks didn't look half-bad with it on. It probably wasn't the first time she's been plagued with unsightly body hair, as wild as she is. XD

This is Sticks we're talking about here, the jungle badger whose burrow is filled with government agents and violins and a shadow that always seems to be following her.  |

I do like Amy's personality in the show as well. Some people say she resembles Sally in behavior too much, and whether that's true or not, I'm not sure. I do like an Amy who's a bit more independent, where her own competencies are focused on instead of her affections for Sonic. (I am a Sonamy fan, mind you...I just don't like how Main!Amy has been Flanderized.)

Now I know that we're on the exact same wavelength! Though, you CAN work with a character that has a crush on another character without flanderizing them to the extremes like Amy is, because I know that if SEGA realized that her character was far better at being a girl's role model than a stereotype, I'm sure they would find people liking the other characters more. |

"My Fair Sticksy" and "Evil Cookies" have got to be the best episodes from season one. They were all fantastic (even though "Buster" was my least favorite episode), and I look forward to the next season.
I just hope people don't turn away from the show because the game was so bad.
